John was a cheerful, laid back man. John had travelled the world when younger. Later he turned to writing and his allotment.. He loved a good meal, an occasional whisky and someone to chat to.Ideally a lady.

We remain grateful to John for passing on his allotment plot to us, along with lots of good advice and the contents of his shed!
The vine continues to be fruitful - and my reminder of these words from Jesus: 'I am the true vine, Father is the gardener.'
